The area is underlain by argillites of the Middle Jurassic Salmon River Formation(?) (Hazelton Group).

Prospecting on their eastern BA property in 2010 by Mountain Boy Minerals led to the discovered a stratiform massive sulphide mineralization system, five kilometres east of the BA Main zone. Two samples of mineralized scree from a gossanous cliff exposure have returned 51.6 grams per tonne silver, 5 per cent lead and 2.4 per cent zinc and; 45.0 grams per tonne silver, 5 per cent lead and 1.22 per cent zinc respectively (Samples 7408 and 7409, Map 3, Assessment Report 32877). Most of the showing is in steep terrain above the Nelson Glacier and climbing skills will be needed to assess the showing adequately. Mineralization occurs within fine-grained mudstones as well as brecciated volcaniclastics.

Refer to the BA prospect (104A 180) for details of the BA property work history and relevant geological details.
